Seriously Folks...

Life is serious, but so is comedy, so is music, and often laughter. Do we have the right to laugh at something serious? We do it every day, and especially in the evening with Dave and Jay.

There are solemn sketches that deserve respect and reverence from our own laughter. There is a type of laughter that does help us through troublesome times.

Remember Mary Tyler Moore and her uncontrolled laughter at the funeral service for “Chuckles the Clown.” First, it seemed sacrilegious, but then everyone understood the true meaning of her laughter and joined in with her. The most appropriate way to honor “Chuckles” was within the way a clown would enjoy. Laughter!
